As the global cosmetics domain pivots towards higher chemical efficacy, active ingredient stability, and strict ecological compliance, selecting the appropriate B2B packaging partner becomes a foundational commercial pillar. In this whitepaper, we dissect the paradigm shifts, engineering milestones, and procurement methodologies defining modern packaging engineering.
Global regulatory bodies, including the European Green Deal and US FDA initiatives, are tightening rules on composite plastic packaging. Single-material packaging (Monomaterial) is rapidly replacing multi-layer plastics because it is easier to recycle. Premium skincare tubes are now made from 100% Polyethylene (PE) or Polypropylene (PP) resins. This structural design ensures that the tube body, shoulder, and closure cap can enter the recycling stream as a single unit, eliminating the labor-intensive separation process.
For formulas with highly active compounds like pure Retinol, unstable L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), and organic essential oils, standard plastics fail to prevent oxygen penetration and subsequent rancidity. Lecos solves this with 5-layer co-extrusion technology. This integrates an internal EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol) barrier layer, reducing oxygen transmission rates to near zero, maintaining formula potency, and extending shelf life without adding chemical preservatives.
Procurement teams are looking beyond petrochemical polymers. Bio-based plastics, derived from sugarcane waste, provide the exact physical performance of traditional low-density polyethylene (LDPE) while acting as carbon sinks during cultivation. In tandem, Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content ranging from 30% to 100% is integrated into the middle layers of co-extruded tubes, satisfying regulatory mandates without sacrificing surface printability and product aesthetics.
Navigating international supply chains requires a partner that understands the pressures of time-to-market, strict quality control protocols, and custom regulatory barriers.
We provide full-spectrum branding services, transforming blank containers into bespoke works of art. Our capabilities include:
Frosting: Achieving a luxury matte finish that reduces visibility of fingerprint oils.
Electroplating: Creating brilliant metallic surfaces for premium cap closures.
Silkscreen & Decals: Precise high-definition rendering of fine typography and complex brand designs.
B2B cosmetic brands face rising costs for raw materials, shipping, and storage. Lecos minimizes these expenses through optimized manufacturing processes and strategic shipping schedules. We balance competitive pricing with high material standards to ensure long-term stability and help avoid costly product recalls or line stoppages.
Every production batch undergoes strict quality control. From initial resin drying to final closure torque tests, we monitor every step. High-precision vacuums test for leaks, and spectrophotometers ensure color consistency across print runs. These procedures guarantee that your automation lines run smoothly, with no defects or downtime.

What are your prices?
Our prices are subject to change depending on supply and other market factors. We will send you an updated price list after your company contacts us for further information.
Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Yes, we require all international orders to have an ongoing minimum order quantity. This MOQ typically ranges between 10,000 to 20,000 units depending on the custom decoration options chosen. If you are looking to resell but in much smaller quantities, please contact our team to discuss alternative options.
Can you supply the relevant documentation?
Yes, we can provide most documentation including Certificates of Analysis / Conformance; Insurance; Origin, and other export documents where required.
What is the average lead time?
For samples, the lead time is about 7 days. For mass production, the lead time is 20-30 days after receiving the deposit payment. The lead times become effective when (1) we have received your deposit, and (2) we have your final approval for your products. If our lead times do not work with your deadline, please go over your requirements with your sale. In all cases we will try to accommodate your needs. In most cases we are able to do so.
What kinds of payment methods do you accept?
You can make the payment to our bank account, Western Union or PayPal: 30% deposit in advance, 70% balance against the copy of B/L.

Do you guarantee safe and secure delivery of products?
Yes, we always use high quality export packaging. We also use specialized hazard packing for dangerous goods and validated cold storage shippers for temperature sensitive items. Specialist packaging and non-standard packing requirements may incur an additional charge.
How about the shipping fees?
The shipping cost depends on the way you choose to get the goods. Express is normally the quickest but also most expensive way. By seafreight is the best solution for big amounts. Exact freight rates we can only give you if we know the details of amount, weight and way. Please contact us for further information.
What types of barrier materials do you offer for high-active skincare tubes?
For active formulation stability, we offer 5-layer co-extrusion tubes containing an Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (EVOH) copolymer core. This reduces oxygen transmission rates significantly, protecting sensitive actives like Retinol and Vitamin C from degradation. We also supply Aluminum-Plastic Laminates (ABL) and eco-friendly Monomaterial Polypropylene (PP) tubes.
How do you verify cosmetic compatibility prior to mass manufacturing?
We perform accelerated compatibility tests, including oven thermal cycling (up to 45°C) for 4 to 12 weeks, layer adhesion tests, stress-cracking resistance evaluations, and weight loss analyses. We highly recommend sending us sample bulks of your formulas so our technical team can run compatibility checks in our quality control lab.
