Technical Roadmap: Next-Gen Glass Airless Packaging

Why elite cosmetic formulators are shifting from traditional pumps to hermetically sealed glass airless jar architectures.

In high-end cosmetics, active formulations containing Retinol, Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), and peptides degrade rapidly when exposed to ambient oxygen. Conventional lotion pumps pull outside air into the container as product is dispensed, initiating a chain reaction of oxidation that reduces the potency of the product.

Our glass airless jar technology solves this limitation. By pairing an inert glass container with a vacuum-hermetic piston system, the product is completely shielded from oxygen. In addition, our glass is naturally non-reactive, ensuring that no chemical outgassing or leaching occurs over the product's shelf life.

Zero-Oxidation Piston Mechanisms

Utilizes a precision-molded internal piston engine that rises as product is drawn up by atmospheric pressure. This mechanism eliminates the need for a dip tube and ensures 100% airtight sealing throughout the lifespan of the cosmetic cream.

Refillable Eco-Conscious Integration

Our upcoming product roadmap includes heavy-wall outer glass jars designed to receive PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic inner-cartridges. Brands can offer customers a luxury keepsake exterior jar and lightweight, easily recyclable replacement cups, cutting plastic waste by up to 78%.

Inert Soda-Lime glass & Light Blockage

We leverage high-grade cosmetic soda-lime glass with custom internal coatings and external spraying (such as amber, black, or UV-filtering coatings) to guard light-sensitive active ingredients from ultraviolet and ambient room lighting degradation.

Macro Packaging Solutions for Global Beauty Brands

Aligning package mechanics with market trends to solve active formula degradation and consumer satisfaction.

Formula Integrity Preservation

Organic and preservative-free cosmetic formulations are highly prone to spoilage. Our airless glass jars isolate formulas from microbes and atmospheric humidity, extending product stability and shelf-life without requiring excessive artificial preservatives.

Optimized Restitution Rate

With high-viscosity anti-aging creams, consumers struggle to empty standard pump bottles, leaving up to 15% of the product wasted inside. The glass airless piston design secures a restitution rate of over 96%, delivering maximum value to the end user.

Luxury Brand Positioning

The heavy weight of glass communicates quality, authenticity, and permanence. Coupled with custom finishing options like matte frosting, hot stamping, and metallization, our packaging enhances the shelf appeal of premium beauty lines.

Supply Chain Resilience & Advanced Manufacturing

Lecos Glass manufactures out of specialized facilities in China, combining cost-efficiency with advanced manufacturing technologies. Our production lines feature automated IS blow-and-blow machinery and electronic inspection systems that trace glass thickness and identify microscopic structural faults in real-time.

By consolidating mold design, raw material sourcing, automated cosmetic glass blowing, cleanroom component assembly, and deep processing decorations under one factory roof, we minimize logistics hand-offs. This vertical integration allows us to keep lead times short and pricing highly competitive for high-volume orders.

Our raw material sourcing lines utilize clean, high-clarity silica sand, reducing impurities to guarantee high optical transparency and thermal shock resistance. This rigorous approach makes our bottles suitable for extreme temperature variations during transcontinental sea transit.

Global Compliance, Customization & Logistics

Navigating international regulatory frameworks to ensure your custom glass airless packaging enters global markets without delays.

Chemical Compatibility Verification

Before mass production, our technical engineers test your formulation against our pump gaskets, piston materials, and internal glass surface. This prevents any material degradation, ensuring that the packaging never compromises the formula.

Regulatory Compliance (REACH & FDA)

All our glass and polymer components comply with FDA guidelines and EU REACH certifications. We guarantee that heavy metal levels (lead, cadmium, mercury) fall well below legal limits, keeping your product safe for US and EU cosmetic shelves.

Secure Export Protective Packaging

Glass requires specialized handling. We pack all wholesale glass containers in divided, heavy-duty double-wall corrugated cartons with plastic over-wrapping. This method protects them from breakages, dust, and moisture contamination during global sea freight.

Frequently Asked Questions & Procurement Insights

Transparent details regarding pricing, logistics, custom options, and minimum order requirements.

What are your prices?
Our prices are subject to change depending on supply, raw material fluctuations, exchange rates, and other market factors. We will send you an updated price list after your company contacts us with specific item requirements, volume projections, and decoration details.
Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Yes, we require all international orders to maintain an ongoing minimum order quantity. For standard clear glass containers, our MOQ generally starts at 10,000 units. For specialized, custom-molded, or decorated glass airless containers, the MOQ may range from 15,000 to 20,000 units.
Can you supply the relevant documentation?
Yes, we can provide comprehensive documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material safety data sheets for plastic components, cargo transport insurance, Country of Origin certifications, and all export declarations required by customs.
What is the average lead time for custom glass orders?
For standard samples, the lead time is about 7 days. For custom pre-production samples with custom silk screening or color spraying, it takes about 14-20 days. For mass production, our standard lead time is 20-30 days after receiving the deposit payment. Lead times become effective when we have received your deposit and we have your final technical approval.
What kinds of payment methods do you accept?
We accept wire transfers (T/T), Western Union, and PayPal. Our typical payment terms are a 30% deposit in advance to initiate production, with the remaining 70% balance due against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
What is the product warranty?
We stand behind our materials and manufacturing quality. We offer a warranty on our materials and workmanship. In the rare event of defects, it is our company policy to address and resolve all issues, offering replacements or credits to keep your operations running smoothly.
Do you guarantee safe and secure delivery of products?
Yes, we always use high-quality export packaging. For fragile glass shipments, we pack the glass containers in reinforced boxes with internal dividers, palletized and shrink-wrapped to prevent shifting during transit. We also utilize specialized packaging configurations for hazardous or temperature-sensitive goods if required.
How are shipping fees calculated?
Shipping costs depend on your chosen delivery method. Express shipping is fast but more costly, making it ideal for prototypes. Sea freight is the most cost-effective method for bulk container orders. Once we know your destination, weight, volume, and shipping terms (FOB, CIF, or DDP), we will provide you with accurate freight rates.
